‘Step Up to Principal’ is a new program in VU’s suite of supervisor professional development. It is specifically designed to support progression from Associate Supervisor (Level 1) registration to Principal Supervisor (Level 2) by equipping supervisors with the knowledge and skills required to be the leader of a supervisory team and to be effective in overseeing a graduate research candidate through all the stages of candidature for a research degree, from initial selection to thesis examination and classification. Part 3 is a 2 hour session and will focus particularly on:
