Professor Kay Livingston, University of Glasgow, has just undertaken an extensive review and report in Scotland in conjunction with their equivalent audit to ERA.

The UK has had the element of research impact embedded in their research audits for longer than Australia have, and Professor Livingston has been reviewing and reporting on this element and the effectiveness of attempts to “measure” it.

Please join VU Research at this forum with Professor Livingston where she will be engaging with our research community on important questions including:

How do you track evidence of research impact before it is realised?

Are there key indicators to monitor?

What strategies have been found to work best in creating a culture for research impact?

At an individual academic level, what are effective strategies to creating pathways to impact?

What have funding agency and industry response been to the impact assessment agenda?
