FAIR principles were developed as an evolution of the Open Data movement and are designed to encourage sharing and reuse of research data. They are intended as best practice principles of good data management and have a focus on ensuring that data and meta-data is machine readable. This presentation is an introduction to the principles and how they can be applied to research data.
