Are you after strategies for navigating the development of a Human Research Ethics Application in Engineering research?  This session will help you develop your application seamlessly, keep on track and have a timely ethics process.

If you are planning to conduct research with human participants related to Engineering you will need to prepare early and determine what type of prior authority may be required. This session will give you a framework to approach your human research ethics application, so you hit the mark the first time, and have a faster turnover to approval.

In this session we will look at using the human research ethics process to further frame and structure your research project using tailored examples.  We will discuss the project description, how to address the issue of recruitment and informed consent within engineering research. Join Elizabeth Hill for an informative discussion on the ethical issues to be considered in undertaking research. The session will cover both high risk and low risk applications.
