This workshop is organised to troubleshoot participants’ SEM work. It requires prior attendance at the Phase-I, Phase-II and Phase-III workshops. Participants are expected to run their own model using AMOS-SEM or Smart-PLS 4.0 prior to attending this Phase-IV. This will be one-on-one kind of workshop to get tips to fix the issues around the model fit.

After going through this workshop, you will

  • Run the model until the model fit is achieved.
  • Analyse the outputs to see if the hypotheses are supported
  • Test for mediation analysis
  • Test for moderation analysis

This course will benefit researchers/HDRs from any field of research and those who have a conceptual/theoretical model for hypotheses testing using survey data. Note that research that uses SEM has a higher chance of getting published in higher ranking journals.

You are advised to bring your own laptop with AMOS-SEM and/or SmartPLS 4.0 trial version installed. You may bring your model and data set and research problem to work simultaneously.

AMOS-SEM users may be provided access to remote desktop.

Associate Professor Himanshu Shee's HDR supervision focuses on equipping scholars with advanced skills in methodologies like Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), using tools such as AMOS-SEM and PLS-SEM. Under his mentorship, students not only undertake rigorous empirical and theoretical research but also achieve significant academic outputs, with publications in leading Q1 and Q2 journals. He is an experienced HDR supervisor and thesis examiner, contributing to the broader academic community through his expertise in SEM techniques. This wealth of experience makes him a sought-after mentor and examiner in his field.
