Join us for an interactive session on diversity, equity, and inclusion in research. The session will be facilitated by A/Prof Fiona McLachlan (Associate Director, Research Training in IHES). You will hear from several VU researchers who are each working to overcome social and epistemic injustice in their research. We will discuss inclusive practices in relation to: research design and participant selection; ethics and cultural safety; and fostering and supporting diversity in teams and projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and you will leave with strategies to reflect on, and enhance, your own research practices.
