The process of preparing a well written Human research ethics application will both help improve the quality of your research and also assist you with working through any issues that arise as you start collecting data from participants. A well written and comprehensive application will also require fewer amendments prior to approval.

As well as helping you approach your ethics application in a systematic way, in this workshop we will discuss the different aspects you need to consider in each section of the application and the level of detail. We will also discuss what needs to be included in attachments - such as Participant Information, Consent Instruments, Advertising for Participants, questionnaires and Interview questions.

This workshop is suitable for researchers who are working on their first few ethics applications.
